Happy New Year! Engagement & Involvement tools.

Dear Local League Volunteers and Parents:

Amongst continuing efforts to inspire and engage more people to contribute time to Little League^® Baseball and Softball, Little League International invites you to join host Nick Caringi, Little League International Senior Director of Operations and Education; and Tom Rawlings, Little League International Director of Umpire Development; for a series of Little League Rules 101 online discussions designed to outline Little League's baseball and softball playing rules.

These free-to-access virtual education sessions will be provided in four 45-to-60-minute sessions featuring Mr. Rawlings and other Little League officials.

The instruction will focus on the nine Little League rules as outlined in the annual Little League Baseball and Little League Softball rulebooks and available through the free Little League Rulebook app.

Each of these sessions will be presented using the Zoom video platform and registration is free. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining each session.

2023 Little League Rules 101 Virtual Rules Schedule:

When: Sunday, February 5, at 7 p.m. Eastern Time
What: Understanding Terms and Definitions (2.00); and the Role of the Umpire (9.00)

What: Objectives of the Game (1.00); What Happens Before the Game (3.00); and Putting the Ball in Play (5.00)
